Administrative Assistant / Editor - Part Time

mostly remote, occasional access to NYC area preferred

Administrative, editorial, and archive support needed for an ongoing non-profit artist project. Versatility and ease with the written word, attention to detail, and skill in handling a range of organizational tasks are the most important qualifications.

Example tasks:

  • maintaining a digital archive

  • maintaining spreadsheets and other organizational materials

  • preparing applications, pitches and decks for new exhibits, etc

  • formatting academic paper and conference submissions

  • grantwriting

  • some light producing of events, preparing marketing materials, researching venues, coordinating logistics, etc

Ongoing, long-term gig for 8-25 hrs / week to start. Very flexible schedule.

This is an administrative support role but can grow in scope and pay for someone interested in undertaking more in-depth tasks in either grantwriting or events production. A background in journalism, library science, archiving, grantwriting all highly desirable.
